 PROJECT VRIDDHI

Enactus Hansraj team photo.jpg

A major contributor to this hazardous pollution is the farm waste-stubble-burning practiced by farmers in the states of Punjab and Haryana.

Owing to this great ordeal , we came up with this magnificent idea of preventing stubble burning and putting it into alternative uses. After intense research and development we had found out that stubble instead of being burnt can be put to multifarious areas of use with great commercial viability and benefits.

With an aim to prevent this problem we came out with a one stop solution, Project Vriddhi wherein we aim to utilize stubble in various alternative forms under each of its three verticals of exercise namely Tabdeel, Shilpkari and Nirmaan.

Project Tabdeel

Tabdeel utilizes the stubble waste into aiding mushroom cultivation thus producing nutrient rich mushrooms which can be easily sold at remunerative prices.

Project Shilpkari

Shilpkari is an vertical entails conversion of raw stubble into stubble pulp which is further processed into cost effective and ecofriendly handicrafts by our women entrepreneurs.

Project Nirmaan

Nirmaan, our most nascent vertical caters to the problem of open defecation by using the stubble for construction of washrooms in lesser Priviledged areas.

Calculating collectively, the social, environmental and economic impact under the three verticals brings garanguatan number of people under the beneficiary umbrella of Project Vriddhi.

It's rightly said, "With sustainability comes scalability.” Keeping this in mind, Project Vriddhi plans to evolve in numerous ways in order to justify the sustainability and scalability of our project.

The success of any social entrepreneurship project highly depends on the quality and quantity of its impact. Under each and every vertical of Project Vriddhi, we impact and benefit a host of people categorically because of the fact that the head idea of our project is entirely impact driven.

With an aim to prevent this problem we came out with a one stop solution, Project Vriddhi wherein we aim to utilize stubble in various alternative forms under each of its three verticals of exercise namely Tabdeel, Shilpkari and Nirmaan.

Having already achieved this, we still believe there's a lot yet to be done. Thus, with an indomitable spirit and an indefatigable zeal we wish to grow bigger in shape and size so as to impact more and more number of people so as to make this world a better place to live in.

Enactus India National Convention 2020 H

Project Tabdeel

Under Tabdeel vertical is already on a very advanced stage where we have established an FPO consisting of 230 farmers who practice mushroom cultivation.

Getting advantages of being an organised community, we plan to establish contracts with mushroom suppliers other than Banjosh and Golden Crown to conduct regular supply and to set up effective channels of distribution.

We intend to grow this project in several other villages and take atleast 1,000 farmers on board in the next two years with proper channels of distribution and established market linkages.
